Madison Chemical is a Partner for Pollution Prevention (P4P2)
The Partners for Pollution Prevention (P4P2) is an association of industry, government, academic, and environmental organizations whose mission is to advance pollution prevention in Indiana.
In 1996, the Indiana Department of Environmental Management organized the Partners for Pollution Prevention (P4P2). These Partners had a proven interest in pollution prevention based on grants, awards, and other commitments they were involved in. The Partners provided a forum to continue to discuss and share their pollution prevention successes and to advise IDEM on pollution prevention policy and programs.
Since that time, the Partners have grown and consist of approximately 35 businesses, organizations, and individuals. Many have received the Governor's Award for Environmental Excellence or an IDEM Pollution Prevention Challenge Grant. Others have committed to pollution prevention by pledging to help meet the Governor's Toxics Reduction Challenge.
