If adhesion is what you need, SurfTreat SEAL 9 will provide it!
SurfTreat SEAL 9 is a liquid, mildly alkaline, organic, final seal rinse to promote adhesion between the paint and the conversion coating.
SurfTreat SEAL 9 actually provides a chemical bond between the paint and conversion coating. The film left by application of SurfTreat SEAL 9 also exhibits strong internal cohesion. This chemical bond provides excellent adhesion on impact or bend testing. When the paint goes on, it won't come off.
These attributes provide excellent corrosion resistance in salt spray and humidity testing.
SurfTreat SEAL 9 is typically diluted with water from 0.25 to 0.75% by volume. It may be applied by spray or immersion methods at temperatures of 65°F. to 160°F. with normal contact times of 30 to 60 seconds. Best results are obtained when the surface is allowed to dry completely before paint application.

Industrial Spray Washers
There is a basic axiom which states that ... no chemical is any better than the equipment used to apply it. This is especially true in the case of spray nozzles. They are responsible for delivering chemical and rinse solutions in sufficient volume, in the correct spray pattern, and with sufficient impingement or impact to enable the chemicals to do their job.
Unfortunately, nozzles are the most neglected and least understood part of the spray washer. And, they are the last items to be replaced when they wear out. To help alleviate at least a few of the rumors being spread, we'd like to offer this advice.
