MADISON CHEMICAL CO., INC. is committed to protecting the environment, our employees, and the community through good stewardship of our chemical products and processes. To this end, we shall strive to:

• Maintain a comprehensive environmental management program conforming to ISO 14001.
• Continually improve our environmental management system through the use of audits, corrective action, preventive action and employee training.
• Prevent pollution where possible by raw material selection and substitution, product re-formulation, manufacturing process control, and training of employees.
• Comply with all federal, state, local and other applicable regulations governing our activities and where appropriate, exceed regulatory requirements.
• Participate in appropriate voluntary programs sponsored by state and federal environmental agencies aimed at pollution prevention and good environmental stewardship.
• Participate on a local level with industry and not for profit organizations advancing employee safety, environmental compliance, emergency planning and good manufacturing practices.

MADISON CHEMICAL CO., INC. shall assure the effectiveness of its environmental management system by appointing an environmental management system committee charged with setting and reviewing environmental objectives and targets and identifying environmental issues of concern to our organization. This policy is communicated to all persons working for or on behalf of the organization and is available to the public by request and on display in our lobby.
